Notice for use of high-output laser equipment

When planning to use high-output laser equipment¹, please submit a "Notification of high-output laser equipment use" two weeks prior to the use of the equipment (in rewritable PDF file) to the Users Office.

However, when permanently installing high-output laser equipment in SPring-8, please attach a recommendation letter from the superintendent of the laser equipment (in free format, with the seal of the immediate manager², the location for the high-output laser equipment, the name of the place, and the name of the superintendent).

High-output lasers refer to class4, class3B and class3A lasers specified by C-6802 of the JIS standard.
Those who can submit this notice are those who have authority over personnel (e.g., deans or general managers).
